Workman, Martin Plead Not Guilty to First Degree Murder

Jeffery Allen Workman, 46, was arraigned today in Sebastian County Circuit Court on the charges of murder in the first degree, class “Y” felony, aggravated residential burglary, class “Y” felony, battery in the first degree, class “B” felony, possession of firearms by certain persons, class “B” felony, and habitual offender in CR-2021-26-A-G.

Jennifer Renee Martin, 39, was also arraigned today in Sebastian County Circuit Court on the charges of murder in the first degree, class “Y” felony, and aggravated residential burglary, class “Y” felony, in CR-2021-26-B-G.

The defendants appeared in person without counsel. The public defender was appointed to represent Workman and Martin. Both entered a plea of not guilty and requested that bond be set.

The prosecutor requested that the total bond be set at $500,000 cash only. The presiding Sebastian County Circuit Judge, the Honorable Stephen M. Tabor, granted the recommendation.

The case has been set for trial on July 12, 2021.
