With volleyball season right around the corner, the senior high Mansfield Lady Tigers might be gearing up in red and white but the only color they are seeing is gold.

After suffering a devastating 8-18 record last season, the Lady Tigers are ready to step out on to the court and show what a real champion looks like. With Coach Kaylie Pyles and Coach Erica McKay making up the new volleyball staff, the team is also faced with a new more competitive conference. “Its going to be a battle every game.” Coach Pyles said “But the girls have tremendous hustle and an enormous amount of effort on the court so that wont be a problem.”

With half of the team being seniors, the Lady Tigers have been working extremely hard. Putting in long hours at practice and at camp during preseason, the girls aim to improve their record and spike their way to the top.

The senior high girls will be having their Red and White Game on August 17th at 6pm in the high school gym. You are invited to relax, enjoy a great game of volleyball and support your Lady Tigers.
