Are you looking for a quick taste of heavenly goodness?  This two ingredient Apple Pie Cinnamon Bites could become your fastest sweet tooth go-to recipe!  I am a firm believer in “less mess” equals “less stress!” With this two ingredient, Apple Pie Cinnamon Bites, you will agree with that motto for sure! I stumbled upon these, and I recently made them for a snack at our bible study at church. They were an instant hit and it looked like I had spent hours in the kitchen like a “Betty Crocker” know it all. This recipe is so easy and is the best when you need a fast desert to make for get togethers. All you need is 2 cans of cinnamon rolls and a can of apple pie filling! Simple as that!
I suggest lining your cupcake pan with cupcake wrappers for easy clean up. Spray inside your wrappers with non-stick cooking spray. Place one cinnamon roll into a cupcake wrapper and make into a pie-like shaped shell. Then, scoop up approximately a teaspoon of apple pie filling and place inside the cinnamon bowl you just made. Continue on until all cinnamon rolls are shell shaped and apple pie filled. Now, you are ready for the oven! Bake at 375 for about 10 minutes or until edges look brown. Remove from oven. Then, while they are hot, drizzle with the icing that came with the cinnamon rolls.
This ooey gooey goodness is yummy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side!
I also added a little cinnamon and sugar to my apple pie filling before I scooped it into the cinnamon roll shell. I love lots of cinnamon and sugar. However, it isn’t required and will still taste delicious either way!
Happy Baking!!
