Last night the Golden Arrows fell to Danville 8-7 in a game that went eleven innings. Trey castor started the game on the mound. He went six innings, faced 30 batters, and gave up 4 runs on 2 hits. Castor also struck out 10. The seventh inning was one of frustration for the Arrows. It was an inning in which they used 3 pitchers and gave up 5 runs. However, Lavaca never quit. The bottom of the inning the Arrows fought back scoring five runs of their own to tie in up and head into extra innings.

During extra innings Lavaca, Wyatt Kiene pitched well closing out the 7th and 8th. Kiene faced 12 batters, gave up 1 hit with 2 walks and allowed no runs. Jimmy Hall came in and pitched innings 9,10 and 11. Hall faced 12 batters, had 7 strike outs, gave up 1 walk, 1 hit, and 1 run.

Offensively, Lavaca had an unusually rough night, with only 5 hits. Kaw-Liga Brewer led the Golden Arrows with three hits in six at bats. The Arrows will look to rebound on Thursday when they travel to Hector to take on the Wildcats.
