Tigers Taste VICTORY!

When you entered Tiger Stadium last Friday night, you felt something in the air. Something that was familiar, like a childhood memory that took you back to years ago. At the end of the 4th Quarter, that “something” became clear as the crowd literally roared with cheers, to be followed with two words from the announcer….. TIGERS WIN!

It was a good moment, and one that won’t be forgotten anytime soon.

Coach Craig Bentley, and his staff have been leaders both on, and off the field, giving hope, encouragement, and motivation to the young Tiger squad knowing a win was coming. The question was, when? Bentley, “There were times when we could have looked for excuses or said “here we go again” but they stayed determined ,trusted the process, played with great intensity, and played their guts out.”

With a final score of 34-26, favoring the Tigers defiance of not making the mistakes that have plagued them this season, and trusting one another, and their individual roles. You could see it from the stands. These Tigers came together Friday night. They were one.

The crowd of family, and fans of Tiger Football were exactly what Tiger football was, at one point. LOUD, supportive, encouraging, and letting the Tigers know, they were there, and giving them the support they needed. Bentley added, “We had a great crowd, and we had a definite home field advantage. I’m happy for our fans as well, they have been great all year long. Thank you!”

Congratulations to #22 Joseff Buccella (overall), #61 Bailey Mckusker (offensive), #51 Andrew Wright (defensive) and #13 Dohee Kim (special teams) for being selected by MAXpreps as the Mansfield Football Players of the Game.

Congratulations Mansfield Tigers, and Coaching Staff. And, THANK YOU Tiger Fans!
