The Moore You Know

I’m not gonna lie, it’s been a tough week! But, I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you how I was reminded of the “seasons” of our life. As I drove from meeting to meeting last week, I took the time to really enjoy the beauty around me. God showed me that these trees, in the glorious splendor of their red and gold showcase of colors, will know when to “let go” and begin another season.

Resident Press is on the cusp of a new season, and I am very excited about our future! We have had an amazing year and I cannot wait to see what 2019 holds!

The response to our Meet the Candidates Night was monumental. We have solid plans to repeat the forum for future elections! Election day is November 6, don’t forget to vote! Both Mansfield and Waldron will be voting in new mayors. No one will fill the shoes of Mansfield Mayor Mike Gipson, nor those of Waldron Mayor Neil Cherry. I have been blessed with an amazing working relationship with both of these fine gentlemen.

Again, another season! I pray for our leaders, national and local. It’s not easy to run for nor hold an office. So I have great respect for anyone who does it! In case you missed it, please read our Pledge of Integrity.

I hope this fall season has brought you the excitement and joy of a new beginning like it has me. Sometimes we must get shed of a few “leaves” to prepare for the morrow, but there is hope, a great Hope!
