The Hornets swarmed the court with quickness and intensity while trying to keep the Arrows at bay. The Hornets matched Lavaca shot for shot throughout most of the matchup. Although Hackett played a nearly flawless game, the Golden Arrows on-target sharpshooting was too much for the Hornets to handle as they lost by 6 points. This game puts the Hornets at 7-13 for the season and 4-5 in conference play.

After their recent blowout over Hector, the Lady Hornets stepped out on to the court with confidence ready to break the Arrows. The Lady Hornets pulled out all of the stops and did what they could to keep control of the ball all game. The Lady Hornets played a scrappy game with Lavaca but the Golden Arrows speedy high octane offense took the air from Hackett’s wings.
