Waldron battled Mansfield in last nights game on the Tigers home court. The Bulldogs walked away victorious 69-48. Barely giving the Tigers a chance to join in the game, the Bulldogs had secured 39 points in the first half alone, going into halftime 39-15. It was Payton Brown who stole the show though with his phenomenal 40 point contribution. Mason Ford brought in 6 points while Drew Dozier made 5. Gada Wagner, Ruben Valdez, Isaac Villareal, Caden Fuller, Kennedy Rice, Sam Slater, and Jesse Dees all jumped in the game and helped the Bulldogs secure the remaining 18 points.
The Lady Bulldogs hold a 1-8 conference play record on the season so far. The girls played hard but in the end they couldnt keep the Lady Tigers at bay and ended losing a close 42-38. Leading the Lady Bulldogs was Mackinzie Callahan with 9 points. Jillian Davis and Chenoa Burdess both brought in 8 points while Samantha Slater and Chelsea Stidman combined for 13 points.
The Cedarville Pirates plan to drift into Waldron on Thursday, January 24 with game time starting at 4 pm.
