Four years ago this very day we lost one of the finest law enforcement officers of all time.

Corporal William “Bill” Cooper, 65, was loved by those in the community in which he served, and well-respected by his brothers and sisters in blue.

He was also a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Cooper will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him most.

Fort Smith resident, Jim Davis, silently stands saluting the funeral procession as the law enforcement community proceeded towards Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Cpl.
