Mansfield Mayor, Mike Gipson, is spotlighting citizens in the town who are doing good things with his “Good Neighbor Report.”

This week he would like to feature members of the Dayton Baptist Church, who have spent their summer giving away bags of groceries to Mansfield families with children. “Every Friday they give out sacks to children, and they have done this since school has been out,” noted Gipson. We appreciate the effort the church has made to help feed kids in our area while school has been dismissed for the summer.

Another citizen featured in this week’s report is Wayne Sensinger. Sensinger came to the aid of a stranger this summer when her air conditioner went out. He voluntarily put in the unit and purchased a part out of his own pocket. “Great people we have,” added Gipson.
