When recent storms damaged the water tower in Mansfield, the Arkansas Health Departments immediately issued a boil order.
Mansfield Public Works Director, Ken Swilling stated “We’re in the process of calculating estimates on the repairs today, and hope to have the water issue in the clear within 2-3 days. The people we have helping us with the tower are the same ones who built it years ago, so they have knowledge of the needed repairs.”
Parents are ensuring that the Mansfield School District has plenty of bottled water for the kids, teachers, etc. A steady stream of generous donations have been received at all district locations.
We’ll be sure to keep updated on the progress of the repairs, and the lifting of the boil order as we learn more in the coming days.
