Mansfield FBLA Student Takes First in Competition

Future Business Leaders of America or FBLA for short, puts students from across the district, state, and country against each other in healthy business type competitions.

The competitors are split into two divisions, junior high and senior high. Ninth grade and below are considered the junior high division. With few resources and barely a rubric to go off of, Caydence Moore, only a sixth grader, competed in the new Business Etiquette competition and placed first in our District 1 and second overall at the state level.

This type of work shows we can expect many great things out of her in the future. Renea Bryan, Mansfield School Districts’ FBLA Coordinator said, “since this was a new competition, Caydence had little information to study. This young lady started researching and studying anything she could get her hands on. I am so proud of her accomplishments and dedication.”
