Lady Arrows Start tournament with 2nd straight shutout.

BethAnn May didn’t allow a single run against McClellan, throwing her second consecutive complete game shutout and leading Lavaca Lady Arrows to a 11-0 victory on Friday. She surrendered zero runs on two hits over four innings, striking out ten and walking zero.

The Lavaca Lady Arrows got their offense started in the first inning. Scoring five runs in the inning. In the first game the lady Arrows hit two home runs.. Tessa Leonard had an in the park home run in the first inning. Brianna Winchester added another In the park home run, in the third inning. Lavaca tallied eight hits. Jessica Flanagan, Brianna Winchester, and Sierra Lamb all managed multiple hits for Lavaca with 2 each. Lamb, Winchester, and Flanagan each collected two hits to lead Lavaca. The Lady Arrows tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases.

Next up is the Charleston Lady Tigers at 6:30 at the Clarksville High School field.
