Jr Bulldogs B-Ballin’

The Waldron Jr High Bulldogs laid it all on the line in last nights home conference game against the Mansfield Tigers. If you’ve never seen these two powerhouse towns face each other, it truly is a sight to see.

The Jr High Bulldogs hit the court with true grit. They started at 100% and ended with 100%. Never slowing down they forced the Tigers out of their comfort zone and grabbed a 55-51 win. The Bulldogs were always one step ahead on the court and on the scoreboard. Lidge Stinson hit double digits at 21 points for his team. Trenton Hunt and Camdon Holcomb sat in the double digits column as well with 17 and 10 points. And securing a combined 7 points were Drew Owens, Trevor Hunt, and Matthew Tegtmeyer.

The Lady Bulldogs struggled a bit against the Lady Tigers offensively falling short 34-23. Defensively though, the Lady Bulldogs walked away from this game with 20 rebounds. Although the Lady Bulldogs were unable to get their footing, they know what needs to be worked on and will be ready the next time they step out onto the court.

The Jr Bulldogs will stay home and face the Cedarville Pirates on Thursday, January 24 at 4 pm.
