Hackett Schools Assist Hartford Parents in Transfer

The Hackett School District’s faculty and staff have spent a large portion of the summer preparing for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year. Many students from the closed Hartford campus are set to attend classes at Hackett on the first day of school, August 13.

This transfer process has made some parents weary of the change up. Hackett schools informed parents, however, that if your child attended school at Hartford, and plan to attend Hackett, they are already enrolled.

If you have a student who will be new to the district, and has not enrolled, you are encouraged to do so. New student enrollment is scheduled for August 1-2. The office is open Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and on Friday from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Enrolling early ensures that administrators have the appropriate number of faculty and staff in place.

Additionally, several teachers who taught with the Hartford District are now teaching within the Hackett District. It will be reassuring to some students to see a familiar face when they make the transition.

The Hackett District is looking forward to an exciting school year, and have dubbed the motto “Great things are happening at Hackett Schools.” If you have any questions about your child’s status of enrollment, or any other questions you can call 479-638-8822.
