Daniel Barnes with McClelland Consulting Engineers presented a slide show at Tuesday night’s Waldron City Council meeting.

In that informational presentation, Barnes highlighted all the progress the city has made over the past year.

Some of those improvements include: water line replacement, improvements at the water treatment plant, side walk additions and the new Forrester-Davis Memorial Park.

Alderman June Haas said “anytime it is pretty, that park is full of kids. I think it’s the most awesome thing we’ve done in a long time.”

Mayor David Millard agreed, and added that there will be a lot more going into the park. Equipment such as a dinosaur dig, and a rock climb will be added soon. Millard concluded, “good things are happening in Waldron and we’re gonna just keep going!”
