“Well, it’s bulls and blood, it’s dust and mud
It’s the roar of a Sunday crowd
It’s the white in his knuckles, the gold in the buckle
He’ll win the next go ’round
It’s boots and chaps, it’s cowboy hats
It’s spurs and latigo
It’s the ropes and the reins, and the joy and the pain
And they call the thing rodeo”
Garth Brooks

The Double D Rodeo Company was at the Boone Miller Lone Pine Arena for the Lavaca, Arkansas Junior Rodeo this past weekend. The rodeo started each night at 7pm and went long into the night. There were events for ages 19 and under. There was a lot of talent from around the Area. Cowboys and Cowgirls came in from as far away as Mena, Arkansas and several from Oklahoma, and of course there were a lot from right here in Lavaca competing in front of their home town crowd.
