If you haven’t heard about #10 Payton Brown on the Waldron Bulldogs Sr High basketball team, then you’re about to. The Bulldogs are unstoppable this year sitting at 18-5 in season play and 8-2 in conference play. Leading the pack is junior Payton Brown.

Payton has been playing basketball for 12 years and has been in the Bulldogs Basketball Program for 5 years playing under current Sr High Head Coach Joshua Brown for the past 2 years.

Having a love for basketball since he was a little boy, Payton has always been encouraged and supported by his parents and challenged by his older brother. In last nights game against Cedarville, Payton scored his 1500th career point. To make this kind of accomplishment definitely takes teamwork. “Payton is a winner,” says Coach Brown. “He can score the ball efficiently and brings a lot of

Payton stays motivated to keep playing basketball because of his competitive nature. “I have the drive to better myself on a daily basis,” says Payton. “There is always room for improvement. After high school, I plan to go to college and play at the next level for UCA.”
