Arrows Go To War With Magazine For Homecoming

It’s Homecoming week and the Magazine Rattlers are coming to Lavaca with hopes of upsetting the Arrow’s big night. Magazine comes in to the game with a 3-2 record and 2-0 in Conference. While Lavaca has a 3-3 record and 2-1 in conference.
Magazine has a strong run game led by junior running back Caleb Hyatt, who ran for 195 yards and 2 touchdowns last week against Hector. However, Lavaca looks to slow down the ground attack with a defense that has pitched 3 shutouts in the past 4 games. Lavaca’s Defense is led by senior Linebacker Trevon(T-Man) Moore and junior linebacker Tucker Marshall. T-Man has 63 tackles on the season, five tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. Tucker has had 8 tackles for loss and three sacks.
On paper this should be a bruising battle. Hooten’s picked Magazine by 8. Offensively, the teams are pretty even, both averaging 22 points a game. However, Lavaca’s defense should give the them the edge in this one. Come out Friday night for this game, it’s gonna be a war.
